Friends of the Library

Friends of the Library (FOL) is an organization that exists to support all aspects of the library and promotes community literacy. It is funded solely through donations and supported by volunteers. There are many library volunteer opportunities available.

FOL sponsors the following programs

  • Scholastic Book Fair (2 per year)
  • Battle of the Books
  • student book clubs
  • visiting authors
  • staff book room
  • birthday recognition
  • DEAR event
  • Literacy Fair
  • school-wide movie license
  • subscriptions to BrainPOP, Raz-Kids, and Freckle

How to Join Friends of the Library?

Membership requires a monetary donation in any amount of your choosing on an annual basis. Members are permitted to check out eight (8) books at a time for a period of two weeks. Forms may be downloaded below and are available in the library. Meetings are held monthly on Tuesdays in the library at 8:00 am and are open to all members. Come and offer your support.
